  • ¾ cup sugar

  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • ¾ cup cake flour
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour

  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1215 strawberries (about 1 cup pureed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Prepare strawberry puree by pulsing trimmed strawberries in a food processor until chunky.
  3. Cream together butter and sugar in a mixing bowl for about two minutes.
  4. Mix in vanilla extract, buttermilk, and strawberry puree until well combined.
  5. Add flours, baking soda, baking powder, and salt; mix gently until just combined.
  6. Fill a piping bag with the batter and carefully fill greased donut molds halfway.
  7. Bake for 7-8 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. Prepare glaze by whisking powdered sugar with milk until smooth.
  9. Once cooled slightly, glaze each donut and let set.
