  • 8 oz penne or linguine pasta
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for 30–60 seconds.
  3. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. Cook in the skillet for 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Pour in soy sauce and honey; simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Add drained pasta to the skillet; toss everything together to coat well. Gradually add reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency.
  6. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.
