Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz rotini pasta
  • 2.53 cups water or broth
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Season the steak pieces with salt and pepper, then sear for 2–3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and sauté minced garlic and red pepper flakes for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and let it simmer for about 3–4 minutes.
  4. Stir in grated parmesan cheese until melted into the sauce.
  5. Add uncooked rotini and water or broth; bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes.
  6. Once pasta is cooked al dente, return steak to the skillet and stir well to combine.
  7. Adjust seasoning if needed; garnish with parsley before serving.
