  • 1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle on a floured surface and cut it into 12 strips.
  3. Tie each strip into a knot and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in parsley, salt, and pepper.
  5. Brush half of the garlic butter mixture over the knots before baking.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Brush remaining garlic butter on top and sprinkle with Parmesan if desired.
