  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 5 tbsp butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 & 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together softened butter, oil, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until fluffy.
  3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. Add flour, salt, and baking powder; mix until just combined.
  5. Shape into nine cookie balls on the baking sheet and flatten each slightly. Create an indentation in the center for filling.
  6. Bake for 8-9 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack.
