  • 26 ounces frozen meatballs (beef, turkey, or chicken)
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 ounce package brown gravy mix
  • 2 teaspoons garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon white grape juice vinegar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1½ cups gruyere cheese (grated)

Instructions

  1. Place sliced onions at the bottom of a 6-quart crock pot.
  2. Add frozen meatballs directly over the onions.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together beef broth, gravy mix, garlic, black pepper, thyme, and vinegar; pour over meatballs.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 2½-3½ hours or low for 5-6 hours.
  5. To thicken, combine cornstarch and water; stir into crock pot. Sprinkle grated cheese on top and cook for an additional ten minutes until melted.
