Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups cooked jasmine or basmati rice
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 5–7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté diced onion for 3–4 minutes; add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Deglaze with chicken broth, scraping up browned bits from the pan.
  5. Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder; simmer until thickened.
  6. Add shredded cheese until melted; return chicken to the skillet and let simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  7. Serve over cooked rice, garnished with fresh parsley.
