  • 0.33 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
  • 1 beef bouillon cube (or 1 teaspoon Better Than Bouillon)
  • 1 teaspoon low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour (for sauce)
  • 0.5 cup Parmesan cheese (grated, optional for sauce)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Combine chicken broth, bouillon cube, soy sauce, onion powder, mustard powder, and thyme in a measuring cup.
  2. Dredge chicken cutlets in a mixture of flour and Parmesan cheese after seasoning with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Sear the chicken in olive oil over medium-high heat until golden brown on both sides.
  4. In the same skillet, caramelize garlic cloves in butter until softened.
  5. Add flour to the garlic and gradually stir in the prepared broth mixture until smooth.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and return the chicken to the skillet; let simmer for five minutes.
