  • 3 cups cooked chicken (shredded)
  • 2 cups egg noodles (uncooked)
  • 10.5 oz cream of chicken soup (1 can)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp onion powder
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Chopped green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook egg noodles in boiling salted water until al dente, about two minutes less than package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Gently fold in cooked noodles, shredded chicken, half of the cheddar cheese, and half of the crumbled bacon (if using).
  5. Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with remaining cheese and bacon.
