  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 4 large eggs (lightly beaten)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Roll out the pie crust on a floured surface until about 13 inches in diameter.
  3. Place the crust in a 9-inch deep dish pie pan, trim excess dough, and crimp the edges.
  4. Spread pecans and chocolate chips evenly in the crust.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, sugars, corn syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth. Pour over nuts and chocolate.
  6. Bake for 30 minutes; then shield the crust with foil and bake an additional 20–25 minutes until set.
