  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 4 cups chopped green cabbage
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Prepare all ingredients by chopping cabbage, mincing garlic and ginger, and slicing green onions.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5–7 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, stirring for about one minute until fragrant.
  4. Incorporate the chopped cabbage and sauté for an additional five minutes until slightly wilted yet crunchy.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch, and sesame oil; pour over the beef and cabbage mixture.
  6. Stir well to combine and cook for two more minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Serve hot with green onions on top.
