- 4 cups chopped green cabbage
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger, grated
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 green onions, sliced
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- Prepare all ingredients by chopping cabbage, mincing garlic and ginger, and slicing green onions.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for about 5–7 minutes until fully cooked.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, stirring for about one minute until fragrant.
- Incorporate the chopped cabbage and sauté for an additional five minutes until slightly wilted yet crunchy.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chicken broth, cornstarch, and sesame oil; pour over the beef and cabbage mixture.
- Stir well to combine and cook for two more minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Serve hot with green onions on top.
