  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Apple Filling: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until softened. Mix cornstarch with water and add to thicken.

  3. Prepare Dough: Separate biscuit dough into individual pieces and flatten each one to about 1/4-inch thick.
  4. Assemble Bombs: Place a tablespoon of cooled apple filling in the center of each biscuit. Fold edges over filling and pinch tightly to seal.
  5. Coat: Dip each bomb in melted butter, then roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture until fully coated.
  6. Bake: Place seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
