  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (for crust)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (for crust)
  • 3/4 cup rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9×13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. For the crust, beat together softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Combine with flour, cinnamon, and salt; mix well.
  3. Press the crust mixture into the prepared dish and bake for about 15 minutes.
  4. While baking, prepare the filling by mixing sliced apples with granulated sugar, flour, and cinnamon.
  5. For the streusel topping, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, and cut in cold butter until crumbly.
  6. Spread the apple filling over the baked crust and top with streusel. Bake for an additional 45 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Cool completely before slicing into squares.
