  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Reduce the apple cider in a saucepan over medium heat until it's halved; set aside to cool.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×5 loaf pan.
  3. Cream the room-temperature butter and brown sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla until well combined.
  5. Mix in flour, apple pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and reduced cider until just combined.
  6. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a rack; brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar topping while warm.
